Why Leather !
"Love it or loathe it, leather has played a fundamental role in the history of humankind" is a quote from the Archeological Leather Group at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/archaeology/calendar/articles/20110908. Whether you love it or not, leather is both a renewable and sustainable commodity. It is versatile, durable, flexible, weather resistant, and only gets better with age. That's not saying all leather is created equal. My goods are made from either U.S. or Canadian leather with no grade less than tannery run #1. It has been my experience that quality leather makes quality goods. My passion is making quality goods that become heirlooms.
